A chic and luxuriously comfortable refuge in the heart of a concrete city, bringing our clients’ California sunshine to the heart of Toronto.
In this large open concept condo, we used a neutral colour pallet with warm earth tone accent pieces of terra cotta and green with an abundance of textures to balance out the potentially cold feel of extra high ceilings and floor to ceiling window walls.
As a focal point we created an inviting reading nook with an Eames style chair, and arched floor-lamp to sit by the fire in the evenings. The sectional sofa has an oversized chaise for cuddling and watching a movie, and the geometric etagere is a fun and artistic way to showcase photos and treasures from world travels. The stunning oversized glass artwork and beautiful inlaid horn credenza in the dining area tie the colour pallet and spaces together. The luxurious primary bedroom was designed as an elegant retreat, and the second bedroom is now a sophisticated and creative work space.
